Tech Rumor of the Day: Nvidia

Mike Rayfield, the general manager of Nvidia's mobile unit says he expects the company's Tegra chip to debut in a phone from one of the top five cell-phone makers as early as the fourth quarter of this year. Rayfield, in an interview at TheStreet.com, wouldn't name the phone maker that will deliver the first device with an Nvidia chip, but industry experts speculate that Samsung or Motorola (MOT Quote) are probably the most likely. The thinking is that both tech shops have plans to introduce Google (GOOG Quote) Android phones and Nvidia has been working with Android.

If true, this would mark a long-delayed and hotly anticipated breakthrough for the PC graphics chip specialty shop. Nvidia has spent about five years and $500 million developing a mobile chip business, says Rayfield. He says the company has won a place in 16 devices to be made by 11 manufacturers.

The Tegra chip promises low power consumption and high-resolution graphics to help smartphone makers deliver improved devices to a hot market.
Nvidia's Big Opportunity

However, the company has had its setbacks as it tries to expand beyond the high-end graphics chips business, which has been tied to PC manufacturing and the advance of computer video and gaming. As PC sales have slumped, so have Nvidia's prospects, thus its need to find new growth.

In 2007 the company introduced a cellphone graphics chip at the GSM wireless show. Last year, Nvidia launched Tegra, a tiny all-in-one computing and graphics processor chip with the promise of powering devices last year or early this year. But no cell phones bearing the chip materialized.

Now, the Tegra seems to have finally found its first win in the handheld device arena. The new HD Zune from Microsoft (MSFT Quote) will be powered by the Tegra chip, says Rayfield. The Zune multimedia device is expected to arrive this fall.

Nvidia also expects a slew of mini computing devices or MIDs coming to the market late this year and early next year. These are sub-netbook sized laptops that will sell for under $200 or free with wireless service contracts. The devices run on Linux, or in Nvidia's case Microsoft Windows CE operating software. The company's Tegra chips will cost manufacturers anywhere between the teens and $30, says Rayfield.

Nvidia has been knocking on this door to the mobile market for two years now, and there's little guarantee of success. Other chip giants like Qualcomm (QCOM Quote) and Texas Instruments (TXN Quote) stand as just two of the formidable obstacles

3 offering Skype on the Nokia N97

First ever Nseries device to integrate the free calls service.

3 has become the only operator to take the opportunity to offer Skype on the Nokia N97.

The offering, available from last Friday, marks the first time 3 has offered Skype on one of the market’s most big hitting handsets.

Mobile reported earlier this year that O2 and Orange had been angered by Nokia’s decision to make Skype available on Nseries handsets. The operators have concerns over potential lost revenue from offering free calls.

O2 still has no availability date for the N97, while Orange is said to be receiving shipments this week. The N97 will be available with Skype on 3 contracts from £35 a month, with voicemail and 300 minutes/texts. Internet can be added for £5 a month.

Alternatively, it’s available on pay as you go for £319.99, where every top up comes with 90 days of free voicemail, a free bundle of texts and 150MB of internet usage.

Sprint Survey Shows That Many Are Not Aware of Budget-wise Travel Applications on Their Wireless Device

This July 4, Sprint recommends customers try travel-related -- and budget-friendly -- functions to help enhance their vacations

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.-- Packing a wireless phone for vacation is a no-brainer for most summer travelers, but a recent survey from Sprint (NYSE:S) shows that the majority of those vacationers are not using helpful travel applications because of budget concerns.

From GPS to video/photo sharing to weather and flight information, travelers can untap the power of their phones via Sprint’s powerful 3G network – the nation’s most dependable1 – while on the beach, at an amusement park or while camping. And they can do all of this for one flat monthly rate, thanks to the Sprint Simply EverythingSM plan, which allows customers to save $1,200 over two years vs. comparable plans for the iPhone.2

With Everything Data plans and the Simply Everything plan, many travel-related applications and tools are available at no additional charge. Sprint Navigation, an award-winning GPS-enabled navigation service that provides audible turn-by-turn directions, 3D moving maps, and real-time traffic alerts with one-click rerouting capabilities, is available at no additional cost on more than 50 Sprint phones. In contrast, AT&T customers pay an additional $9.99 per month for AT&T Navigator on top of AT&T data plan prices.

Also offered on Web-enabled Sprint phones at no additional charge: flight alerts and flight status information, weather information, social networking and personal email. And, on smartphones such as the Palm® Pre™ and Blackberry® Curve, customers can enjoy access to corporate email (also available on more than 20 consumer-friendly phones such as Samsung Instinct™, Sanyo Katana Eclipse and LG Rumor)—at no additional cost on Sprint Everything Data plans, including the Simply Everything plan.

“It’s clear that the wireless phone is a must-have device for travelers for calling, but what we’ve also realized is customers aren’t using the device for all it can do in terms of their data experience; there is a wealth of untapped information right at their fingertips,” said David Owens, director of product marketing, Sprint. “Thanks to our dependable and fast network, wireless customers can easily access audible turn-by-turn GPS for directions, get location-based weather information, receive flight alerts and use hotel booking services. We encourage people to enhance their travel experience and take advantage of the value-rich applications and features that are available at no additional cost with Sprint's Everything Data and Simply Everything plans. We specifically built our pricing plans to match the incredible capabilities on these devices. It is just one of the ways Sprint is differentiating itself in the market.”

Key findings from the Sprint travel/value survey include:

What vacationers pack
Aside from laptops (50 percent), MP3 players (38 percent) and portable DVD players (17 percent), wireless phones (79 percent) are the most popular item for travelers.

Use of travel-related applications among vacationing adults
Eighty-nine percent of young adults (ages 18-34) would ideally like to have access to travel-related applications on their wireless phones, including social media Web sites (34 percent), online/wireless games (19 percent) and restaurant guides (51 percent) while away.

Thirty-five percent of males (ages 18-34) and 24 percent of females (ages 18-34) already use at least some travel applications on their wireless phones.

More than half of vacationers (56 percent) do not use available travel-related features on their wireless phones because of cost concerns. Sixty-one percent of these women and 65 percent of these young adults (ages 18-34) believe that the fee to run travel-related applications on their wireless phones is a deterrent to using them.

Accessibility of vacationers
More than one-third (37 percent) of men misrepresent their accessibility to e-mail and their wireless phone while on vacation. Sprint Is Exclusive Wireless Data Provider for 2010 Census

Harris Corporation Selects Sprint over Rivals to Provide Integrated Wireline and Wireless Support for First Time Automated Data Collection.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.-- Every ten years, the U.S. Census is required by law to collect and count data in an accurate, timely and efficient manner. To further boost accuracy and efficiency, Harris Corporation, the system integrator for the upcoming 2010 Census, has selected Sprint (NYSE:S) as the exclusive wireless data provider to help automate the process and to provide wireline and wireless data support to collect the information in real-time.

“Sprint provides the best value for the government by offering a cost-effective converged solution for the cellular and landline data needs of the program, while also leveraging a robust portfolio of managed services and their secure and reliable Now Network,” said Mike Murray, Vice President, Harris Census Programs. “As a result of the combined solutions and technology provided by Sprint and Harris, the 2010 Decennial Census is expected to be the most accurate in U.S. history.”

Beginning in April 2009, approximately 140,000 field workers carried the Harris custom-built devices operating on the Sprint network, with the ability to transmit collected data back to the Census Bureau in near real-time. In addition to their unique data collection capabilities, all hand held devices were equipped with GPS capabilities (allowing workers to verify addresses remotely without relying on printed maps) and fingerprint ID scanning for added security.

In addition, Sprint is providing several other solutions for this program, including:

Approximately 500 Sprint Global MPLS sites across United States, allowing local Census offices to connect on a single IP-based network
Roughly 1,500 managed devices including routers, switches, firewalls and Intrusion Detection Service (IDS) for additional security
More than 150,000 active telemetry wireless devices that will allow workers to collect data remotely, resulting in more accurate reporting and substantially less use of paper
About 1,500 mobile broadband connection cards, offering high speed connectivity on America’s most dependable 3G network*
Significant professional services and integration expertise such as on-site security management, dedicated program management, and data center hosting services from Sprint, providing the critical infrastructure “glue” for one of the most complex activities of 2010
In past years, data was collected manually by thousands of field workers through paper address lists, printed maps and complex work assignments. The process was time consuming, expensive and often hampered by delays. To reduce its operational costs and increase efficiency and accuracy, the U.S. Census Bureau decided to use an automated system to directly capture data for the address canvassing portion of the 2010 Census.

The Field Data Collection Automation (FDCA) database designed and supported by Harris, will automate the collection and management of addresses and GPS data, to enable the first virtually paperless conduct of the address canvassing effort.

“Sprint is honored to play a critical role in this historic evolution of the Decennial Census program for 2010,” said Bill White, vice president for Federal Programs at Sprint. “Given our wireless data and IP leadership and Sprint’s highly dependable Now Network, we offer the most integrated wireless and wireline solutions in the industry. Our support will help the program reduce their costs, increase efficiency and deliver accurate information in real-time.”

It is expected that ongoing system and network integration provided by Sprint and Harris will allow the FDCA program to ultimately save time and deliver more accurate results, faster. The network services from Sprint will also help allow the bureau to meet the security requirements imposed by Title 13 of the U.S. code.

Sprint serves Harris and the U.S. Census through its newly formed Business Markets Group (BMG). Composed of more than 4,000 sales, support, marketing and operations personnel, Sprint’s BMG is dedicated solely to enterprise, general business and public sector customers. BMG delivers wireless, wireline and converged solutions for companies, drawing on the nation’s most dependable 3G mobile broadband network,* 4G capabilities that are well ahead of Sprint’s competition, the fastest national push-to-talk network,** and a comprehensive solutions portfolio of devices and applications. Sprint Wins Top Advertising Honors for its Now Network Integrated Digital Campaign

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.-- After a week of celebrating the best in advertising and marketing, it was Sprint (NYSE:S) that took home one of the world’s top advertising prizes at the 56th Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival on June 27, held in Cannes, France.

Sprint was recognized for its tech-savvy Now Network™ campaign, which engaged Internet users in an unprecedented interactive experience about what’s happening “Now.” The campaign effectively linked Sprint to all things Now by showing consumers that Sprint gives them the ability to access people and information immediately, when and how they want. The campaign captured the festival’s top award – the Gold Lion for an Integrated Campaign – a category recognizing excellence in a multiplatform advertising campaign. The Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival is considered by many as the Academy Awards of the advertising industry.

Sprint beat out several well-known campaigns from other notable competitors to win the Gold Integrated Lion award. A total of 2,205 entries were submitted in the Cyber category from organizations worldwide from which 208 finalists were selected. The Sprint Now Network campaign also took home five other awards – four Silver Lions and a Bronze Lion in the Digital Category. Sprint was the only brand to win multiple awards within a category. Additionally, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Sprint’s advertising agency, was recognized as Interactive Agency of the Year at Cannes.

“This prestigious award is further proof that Sprint is not only a wireless company but we are also a leader in creative digital media,” said Dan Hesse, Sprint’s chief executive officer. “Our goal was to showcase the power and breadth of the Sprint Now Network and engage customers on a personal level with useful and interesting information, and the Now Network campaign has done that effectively. We are honored and we thank our partners at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners for their outstanding work.”

Sprint’s campaign channels the prevailing idea of what today’s technology is about: giving people immediate access to information they want from virtually anywhere on a multitude of devices delivered by America’s most dependable 3G network*. Sprint’s Now Network microsite offers a screen that captures and organizes a multitude of factoids from the Internet featuring graphic-infused tickers, dials and widgets. The Sprint Now downloadable widget and screensaver stream the latest headlines along with a variety of miscellaneous facts and trivia, such as the number of planes in the air at a given moment, all delivered now. Sprint’s digital spots included homepage takeovers with Yahoo! Today, AOL, ESPN.com, WSJ.com, People.com, CNET and YouTube. On YouTube, the interactive experience included a first-ever, user-generated digital clock featuring users who filmed themselves for three seconds while holding up a pre-assigned number, serving as one digit on the Now Clock. More than 100,000 Web sites linked to the Sprint Now Network microsite, which earned praise across the Web.

Several elements from the online experience were replicated in a similar fashion across other platforms including print, television and out-of-home signage.

The Cannes Lion awards add to an impressive list of honors Sprint received earlier this year for the Now Network campaign, including Gold at the Clios, Gold at the New York Festivals, Silver Pencils at the One Show, and winner at the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP) Next Awards Show and the D&AD Awards Show. Sprint also won top honors at the Webby Awards and was a finalist at the New York Festivals both awards given for the Get Work Done Now™ advertising campaign.

The Sprint Now Network is more than just a physical network; it features America’s most dependable 3G network*, the largest push-to-talk community, award-winning phones and devices – including Palm® Pre™, one of the most-anticipated wireless products of the year – all combined with Sprint being the only national carrier to offer wireless 4G services. In April 2008, Sprint revolutionized data plans with an all-inclusive price plan, Simply Everything®, which eliminated the fear of overages. Also, Sprint’s Ready Now in-store customer service shows people one-on-one how to get the most out of their wireless experience.

Herff Jones Expands its Reach with AT&T Wireless Solutions

Wireless Services Give Greater Accessibility to Herff Jones Employees and Mobile Sales Force.

AT&T* announced a three-year contract for wireless devices, service and in-building solutions with Herff Jones, one of the leading manufacturers of motivational and recognition products in the United States. Herff Jones employees will experience the nation’s fastest 3G network, according to data compiled by leading independent wireless research firms, on leading devices at their desk or offsite throughout their operations in U.S. and Canada.

Herff Jones sought to simplify its wireless platform, while enhancing corporate billing, usage and in-building coverage at its Indianapolis headquarters. Under terms of the contract, AT&T will provide the company with voice and data wireless service and devices that leverage Windows Mobile applications. Employees will be able to access important information, while keeping connected from any location. Also, AT&T’s in-building solution will facilitate augmentation of the network capacity for Herff Jones’ main campus of operations, enhancing voice and data transmission experience for employees on-site.

“Mobility and efficiency are essential for business leadership in today’s competitive marketplace,” said Gary Caldwell, Chief Information Officer, Herff Jones. “AT&T is allowing us to easily conduct our business all over the country, giving us more time and flexibility to connect with customers to help them celebrate their academic and athletic moments of achievement and excellence.”

AT&T will also streamline ordering and customer care through the Premier Mobility online portion of the AT&T BusinessDirect Portfolio, which will give Herff Jones prompt access to available devices, billing usage and service specialists.

AT&T Becomes First Wireless Carrier to Receive Accreditation from Every Better Business Bureau in the U.S.

Company's Commitment to BBB "Standards for Trust" Earns It Recognition Held by Few Other American Businesses.

AT&T* announced that its mobility unit has earned accreditation with each of the 111 Better Business Bureaus (BBB) across the United States. AT&T is the only wireless carrier to earn the distinction and is one of just a handful of companies, overall, to achieve accreditation with every BBB.

BBB-accredited businesses adhere to the BBB’s “Standards for Trust,” a comprehensive set of policies, procedures and best practices on how businesses treat consumers. The standards call for building trust, embodying integrity, advertising honestly and telling the truth, being transparent, honoring promises, being responsive and safeguarding privacy.

Over the past several years, AT&T Mobility has launched a number of consumer-friendly initiatives that emulate these standards. For example, AT&T offers its customers:

Numerous service options — many that are pay-as-you-go with no contract term.
An easy-to-understand summary provided at the point of sale outlining customers’ calling plans and features, along with a detailed itemized estimate of their first and ongoing monthly bills.
A 30-day trial period for both service and equipment.
The ability to change calling plans or features without having contract terms extended.
Prorated early termination fees for service options with contract terms.
A wireless consumer policy portal located at www.att.com/wirelesspolicies that lists AT&T’s consumer-friendly policies.
Several parental control options, enabling parents to set limits on children’s cell phone usage.
A detailed, online street-level coverage mapping tool, called the Coverage Viewer, which provides important information regarding the quality of coverage the customer will receive in a given location.
Rollover® Minutes, which is the ability to keep any unused monthly minutes for up to one year to safeguard against any future monthly overage charges.
“We are passionate about serving the customer, and doing it with the highest degree of integrity,” said Paul Roth, president of Marketing and Sales, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. “Accreditation with every Better Business Bureau in the country reflects our commitment to live up to the highest ethical standards and provide the very best customer experience.”

BBB is a resource for the public, providing objective, unbiased information about businesses. A key piece of information that helps consumers make informed decisions is whether a company is BBB accredited. Begun in 2007, BBB accreditation is an honor and not every company is eligible. BBB standards are approved by the national Board of Directors, and businesses meeting all BBB standards are presented to local Boards of Directors for final review and acceptance as a BBB Accredited Business.

“AT&T and BBB share a common goal of encouraging trustworthy business practices, and we congratulate AT&T on its efforts to earn accreditation across the entire BBB system,” said Steven J. Cole, President and CEO of the Council of Better Business Bureaus. “We are gratified that an important global company sees the benefit of working closely with BBB leaders in every market across the U.S.”

The Better Business Bureau was founded in 1912 with a mission of fostering a fair marketplace. According to the BBB, seven of 10 consumers say they are more likely to buy from a company designated as a BBB Accredited Business.

AT&T Announces Dallas Company to Upfit Vehicles with Alternative-Fuel Technology

BAF Technologies to Convert 600 Vehicles with CNG Technology in 2009; Part of 10-Year Commitment to Spend up to $565 Million on Alternative-Fuel Vehicles.

AT&T* joined Dallas-based BAF Technologies to announce that conversion of vehicles purchased by AT&T to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is underway. BAF Technologies, the premier provider of natural gas vehicle upfits, will convert 600 Ford E-Series vans to CNG technology in 2009.

AT&T expects to spend an estimated $350 million to purchase about 8,000 CNG vehicles as part of a $565 million, long-term strategy to deploy more than 15,000 alternative-fuel vehicles over the next 10 years. AT&T’s investment represents the largest U.S. corporate commitment to CNG vehicles to date. The new deployments will bring AT&T’s alternative-fuel fleet to more than 15,000 vehicles by 2019.

“AT&T’s commitment to alternative-fuel vehicles reflects our long-term goal to minimize dependence on imported sources of fuel and explore new automotive technologies,” said Charlene Lake, AT&T chief sustainability officer. “Together with BAF Technologies, we hope this initiative helps boost other industries, while at the same time signaling demand for the production of more fuel-efficient vehicles.”

The vehicles will utilize the BAF CapComp System™, a proprietary CNG fuel system certified by the EPA. CNG vehicles are expected to emit approximately 25 percent less greenhouse gas emissions than those traditionally powered by gasoline.

“We’re proud to join AT&T in its efforts to introduce more CNG vehicles into its fleet,” said John Bacon, BAF Technologies president. “Not only will the new vehicles operate on domestic fuel, they also will be among the cleanest vehicles on the road. This program will soon be the standard other companies will follow.”

The Center for Automotive Research (CAR) in Ann Arbor, Mich. estimates that for the years AT&T’s fleet purchase program is operating, more than 1,000 jobs in the United States will be created or saved.

“I’m honored to stand with AT&T and BAF Technologies, two American businesses doing their part during tough economic times to help lessen our country’s reliance on imported oil and create demand for more fuel-efficient vehicles. This announcement is good for business, good for the environment and good for our economy,” said U.S. Rep. Joe Barton.

In addition to the economic benefits, CAR estimates the new vehicles will save 49 million gallons of gasoline and reduce carbon emissions by 211,000 metric tons over the 10-year deployment period. That is equivalent to removing the emissions from more than 38,600 traditional passenger vehicles for a year.

"I applaud AT&T's leadership in supporting clean air and the environment in Texas. When companies of AT&T's stature make a commitment to low-emission fuels in an effort to cut down on the emissions polluting our air, others are sure to follow," said state Rep. Rafael Anchia.

AT&T will work with natural gas service providers to build up to 40 new CNG fueling stations across its operating region to provide the fueling infrastructure needed for the new vehicles.

In addition to deploying CNG vehicles, AT&T has committed to replacing retiring gasoline-powered passenger vehicles in its fleet with alternative-fuel models. AT&T expects to replace 7,100 passenger cars over the next 10 years. The alternative-fuel vehicles, which will be used by employees in a variety of diverse work functions across AT&T’s operations, are expected to offer up to a 39 percent improvement in fuel economy and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 29 percent.

During the initial phase of the deployment, gasoline-powered passenger vehicles will be replaced with hybrid models. As technologies evolve, additional alternative-fuel vehicle types will be considered for inclusion. A Green Technology insignia will make AT&T’s alternative fuel vehicles easy to identify on the road.

The new CNG/passenger vehicle commitment follows AT&T’s deployment of 105 alternative-fuel vehicles in more than 30 U.S. cities beginning in June 2008. In addition, AT&T piloted four Ford Escape hybrids, which were deployed in late 2007 in California.

Through these successful pilot programs, AT&T has learned that a mix of solutions is right for its fleet and that multiple technologies can help reduce its operating costs over time, while effectively reducing its fuel consumption and impact on the environment.

In addition to taking steps to make its fleet more efficient, AT&T is committed to helping its customers make their commercial fleets more efficient via a portfolio of fleet management products and services. Using AT&T’s nationwide mobile broadband network and GPS partner solutions, AT&T provides fleet managers with the ability to actively manage their vehicles, increase efficiency and reduce fuel and insurance costs. Nearly all of AT&T’s own technician vehicles are equipped with similar GPS capabilities, which have provided increased visibility into business operations and allowed AT&T to uncover opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

SkyBitz(R) Protects Assets Through Expanded Portfolio of Tank and Tire Pressure Sensors

STERLING, Va. -- SkyBitz(R), the leading remote asset tracking and information management service provider, announced the availability of Tank Activity and Tire Pressure sensors. The two new sensors, together with SkyBitz's comprehensive suite of intelligent sensors, provide superior remote monitoring and diagnostic capabilities of enterprise assets.

The SkyBitz Tank Activity Sensor provides valuable information about the content status of tank-based assets by indicating whether a valve has been opened to release gas, petroleum or chemicals. The SkyBitz Tire Pressure Sensor provides quick, on-tire pressure identification. Sears Introduces Buyer Protection for Home Appliances

Program Covers Balance of Sears Card* Purchase and The Customer Keeps the Appliance in the Event of Job Loss.

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., -- Sears, the nation's leading appliance retailer, is giving consumers one more reason to shop Sears first for their appliances, with the introduction of the "Sears Buyer Protection(sm) Program" - the only program of its kind made available among national major home appliance retailers.

The Sears Buyer Protection Program, available July 6, 2009, through August 1, 2009, will cover major appliance purchases over $399 when purchased with your Sears card if the accountholder loses his or her job. The program even covers the cost of service agreements, installation, delivery and more if those items were purchased with the appliance.

"The beauty of this program is it's absolutely free with your Sears card," said Kevin Brown, vice president and chief marketing officer for home appliances at Sears. "Our customers have told us that even with the Sears best price guarantee, they have been deferring much-needed appliance purchases. With Sears' Buyer Protection Program, customers can move forward with confidence and make a purchase knowing that if something unforeseen happens with a job, the Sears Buyer Protection Program will credit their Sears account for that purchase and allow them to keep the appliance," Brown said. "This is available for all home appliance brands carried at Sears, which has the nation's best selection of appliance brands. That includes LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, G.E. and America's number one appliance brand--Kenmore."

Sears has been actively listening and responding to consumers' concerns throughout the economic downturn, by offering an even greater selection of money-saving, energy-efficient ENERGY STAR(TM)-rated appliances than ever before and adding the online ENERGY STAR Rebate Center.

How it Works

If a customer purchases a major home appliance over $399 with a Citibank-issued Sears card and loses his/her full-time job after 60 days and up to 1 year from the date of the purchase, 1/12th of the purchase price will be credited to the account each month that the customer is unemployed. This credit covers the appliance and related accessories, extended warranties, maintenance agreements, protection and service agreements, delivery haul-away, installation and sales tax. If the customer is still unemployed one year after the purchase, they will receive a credit to their account for the remaining purchase amount. The customer keeps the appliance and will owe nothing on that purchase. The customer can make their purchase at a Sears store+ or at sears.com

Requirements

To qualify for the program, the customer has to be employed full time for at least 60 days after the appliance purchase. If he or she involuntarily loses their job within a year of making the purchase on their Citibank issued Sears card then they qualify. To file a claim under The Sears Buyer Protection Program, customers will need to complete a Benefit Request Form. To request the benefits or obtain additional information, they will need to call a toll free number that will be provided at time of purchase, or go to SearsBuyerProtection.com. In store, the Sears Blue Appliance Crew will be available to answer questions about the Sears Buyer Protection Program.

About Sears Home Appliances

competition's price, guaranteed, up to 30 days. Sears offers worry-free 1-year service, guaranteed and free help and support on all brands serviced by Sears 24/7 by phone.
