The board of directors of megaphone affirmed additional investments in the development of 3G networks

The board of directors of the first all-Russian operator of mobile connection joint stock company “megaphone” affirmed the new development program of his own fiber-optic lines of communications ([VOLS]) and data processing centers. Investments in the development of supply mains and strengthening of the data processing centers in 2010 will comprise to 4 billion rubles.

As noted the Director-General of joint stock company “megaphone” Sergey [Soldatenkov], the program of investments, accepted at the council session of directors was called to first of all ensure the need of subscribers for the contemporary and qualitative services to connection, including mobile [SHPD] at the high speeds. Investments in the development of supply mains and data processing centers will allow megaphone to become the universal operator, which also will be able to pass its own communication channels to the lease.
