[GUIDE] Root your X10 ! {Update 29.06 R2BA020 ROOT }

Okay here comes FIRST ROOT for X10

This is Idiot proof in 3 steps (thanks Jerpelea for that )

First download this file and extract it:
NEW ROOT : (It will let stock apps, for cleaning Rom check jerpeleas post #4) [reupp because 1st package was not correct]

If you wanna use flashtool. You have to find your deviceID first! Please find it as described and then copy it over inside the DeviceID.txt

New instructions for FULL R2BA020 GENERIC UK ROOT

Step 1
flash generic uk rom with any metod

Step 2

First startup the phone and activate USB-Debugging:
Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> Development -> USB Debugging!

run step 2 and select "update from sdcard" on phone



Step 3
run step 3 and will root your phone


If you have X10a you have to do this additional steps:

Step 4 - X10a ONLY
run step 4 only for X10a (corrected baseband,because 3g frequencies are different to X10i)


Step 5 - X10a ONLY
only for X10a[/COLOR] (corrected devicename and rogers apn)

So this is easy and first root for X10!
