Chunghwa Telecom posts January-June EPS of NT$2.58
Chuunghwa Telecom (CHT) on July 9 reported unaudited net profit of NT$4.716 billion (US$146 million) for June 2010, resulting in a January-June net earnings per share (EPS) of NT$2.58.
CHT had 1.85 million FTTx (fiber to the home/building) subscribers and 350,000 ADSL subscribers at download speeds of 8Mbps or above as of the end of June, the company indicated.
Taiwan Mobile (TWM) and Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) have also released their financial figures for June.
