MTS to build LTE network earlier than planned

According to the newspaper "Vedomosti", with reference to the vice-president of MTS Alexander Popovski, the operator is going to build its own cellular network, the fourth-generation LTE earlier than required under the terms of the license. This network will be built, according to the new plans of the operator, in 20 regions of the country by the end of this year. At the same time, will increase the amount of investment they make about 20% of revenue, and not 15-18%, as previously planned. MTS believes that connect users to the 4G network will be faster than it did with the 3G, and the deployment of next generation networks should hurry. By the way, at this point in 25 major cities of the country on the LTE network Yota, and the operator "MegaFon" has services on the 4G Yota rights virtual operator. At the same time, another Russian operator of the "big three" - "VimpelCom" - believes that the rapid development of LTE is expected later, especially as long as the market is not so many devices that support this technology. This operator is going to focus on LTE only in 2014-2015.
