The number of smartphones in the life :) network increased by 45%

Ukrainian mobile operator life :) said that in the first quarter of 2013 continued to show high growth of smartphones: the total number of "smart devices" in the life :) network increased by 45% compared to the first quarter of 2012. The most dynamic growth over the past year have demonstrated smartphones based on operating system Android, whose growth during this period was 242% (to 664 million), as well as iOS, the number of which has increased on an annual basis by 99% (to 194 million).

Also, according to the opertora, hold the popularity of smart phones operating on Windows Mobile, the number of which in the life :) network on an annual basis increased by 72% (65 thousand). During the same period, a 9% increase in the number of smartphones on OS Bada. Compared with the first quarter of 2012, the number of Symbian OS phones has decreased by 14% in the first quarter of 2013 amounted to 618 thousand
