Huawei S7700 Series Switches Awarded ICT Industry's First Green Product Mark Certificate from TÜV Rheinland

Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today announced that the S7700 series switches (S7703, S7706, and S7712) received the world's first Green Product Mark certificate for ICT products at the award ceremony held on April 11, 2013.

The Huawei S7700 series switches feature various green designs and energy saving technologies, including innovative energy saving chips that enable intelligent power consumption control, automatically adjusted fan speeds and a left to rear air flow design. The S7700 series switches satisfy a multitude of environmental standards set out by the highly respected TÜV Rheinland certification, which encompasses safety regulations, electromagnetic compatibility, environmental protection, recycling, energy efficiency, carbon footprint and social responsibility.
