Samsung Galaxy Note III launching in Taiwan on September 27?

Samsung usually launches flagship devices as soon as it announces them, and we had confirmed that the Galaxy Note III would start shipping in September a few days after its formal unveiling. However, we may have the first concrete date for the Note III’s launch thanks to a new rumor from ePrice, which states the phablet will launch in Taiwan on September 27th.

The device will reportedly go on pre-order as early as September 16, though ePrice says that the dates might change, but there shouldn’t be any major changes in schedule. Taiwan is usually one of the first nations to get new handsets, but going by Samsung’s recent track record, we should see it become available in other markets around the same time (well, provided the Taiwan release date checks out, though ePrice is usually on the money with rumors).

The Galaxy Note III will sport a 5.68-inch Full HD 1080p Super AMOLED display (we earlier saw what is allegedly the handset’s display frame), a octa-core Exynos / quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera, 32/64GB storage and a microSD slot, 3,200mAh battery, and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
