Samsung introduced the HMP technology for eight-processor

Samsung has introduced the updated chipset Exynos 5, which will now be able to get really Eight-in the sense that all the cores will be able to work simultaneously. Initially, technology big.LITTLE assumed that more efficient cores will serve the heavier tasks, and less productive to connect in their absence. Thus as a result of an eight-core processor, in practice, has always been a quad, but allows you to save battery life. However, the technology Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP) will Exynos 5 Octa big.LITTLE will Exynos 5410 chipset and 5420 to earn "at capacity." This was in response to Samsung criticism of these products. NMR technology can not only engage not only the eight cores simultaneously, but to combine them in any desired configuration, connecting it as capacity as required to perform routine tasks. Until now, the choice was only the configuration of the cores or Cortex-A7 or only Cortex-A15. What in fact did not allow the full potential, including for energy efficiency. It is reported that the new chipsets with support for HMP will go on sale in the fourth quarter. Regarding the possibility of its use in the already introduced solutions has not reported.
