Overview
Samsung Connect Auto lets you develop solutions to make vehicles smarter, safer, and more efficient. These solutions can enable consumers, enterprises, and governments to convert previously unconnected cars into connected cars. Samsung Connect Auto provides real-time vehicle data, multi-user LTE connectivity, and defense-grade security; powerful features that enable new revenue-generating services. These services can include fleet management, fuel optimization, usage-based insurance, car security, roadside assistance, maintenance and repair, in-car infotainment, smart city solutions, and so on.
Samsung Connect Auto includes:
On-board Diagnostics (OBD-II) — The LTE-enabled OBD-II device provides diagnostic information and serves as an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot. The OBD-II device is safeguarded by the Samsung Knox security platform, which uses its encryption abilities and its tamper-proof eSE (embedded Secure Element) to secure data.
Samsung Connect Auto Cloud — This scalable and customizable service facilitates device management, data analytics, and location-based services provisioning.
Cross-platform Mobile App — Supporting various Android and iOS mobile devices, this app provides vehicle health and driving information to the end B2B and B2C customers.
