Update the software of the Samsung Galaxy S5 (G900A)

Update summary
Effective August 26, 2016, AT&T released a software update for the Samsung Galaxy S 5 (G900A). You can download the update via Firmware Over the Air (FOTA). A Wi-Fi connection is required.

Software update includes
Android OS 6.0 (Marshmallow)
Wi-Fi Calling
Video Calling
Android device security enhancements

Instructions :

Before you begin
In order to receive this software update, your device must be on current baseband version ending in PA1, PA3, or PA6. If not, repeat the update process until PA1, PA3, or PA6 is installed and you should be able to then install the latest software update. Ensure you have enough available memory for this update. You may need to remove apps or data to increase the available memory on your device. You can back up your data before deleting it.

To update the software
Make sure your device is sufficiently charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
From the device home screen, pull down the notification shade and tap Settings.
Scroll to the System category and tap About device.
Tap Software update > Check for updates.
Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.

To verify the update
From the device home screen, pull down the notification shade and tap Settings.
Scroll to the System category and tap About device.
The device has the latest firmware if the Build Number matches the specifications below:
Android version: 6.0.1
Android Security Patch Level (SPL): August 1, 2016
Baseband Version: G900AUCU4DPH2
Kernel Version: 3.4.0-8903521 dpi@SWHD4408 #1 Wed Aug 3 20:18
