Nokia has published a financial report for the previous first quarter of 2011

The Finnish company Nokia, known for producing mobile phones and smartphones, has presented a financial report for the previous first quarter of 2010, where its main parameters are as follows:

Net sales of the company amounted to 10.4 billion euros, up 9% compared with last year, and 18% lower compared with the previous quarter (4% growth and 18% drop in monetary units).
Net sales of Mobile phones and services amounted to 7.1 billion euros, up 6% higher compared to the same period last year and 17% lower compared with the previous quarter (1% growth and 16% drop in monetary units) .
Net sales department services amounted to 211 million euros, up 43% higher in comparison with the previous quarter and 5% - compared with the previous quarter; billed at 338 million, a 48% increase compared to last year and 4% lower compared with the previous quarter.
Nokia has shipped 108.5 million units of mobile terminals, which is 1% higher compared to the same period last year and 12% lower compared with the previous quarter.
Shipments of converged mobile devices (smartphones and mobile computers) was 24.2 million units, up 13% compared to last year and 14% less in comparison with the previous quarter.
The average selling price for mobile phone (including income from services) has risen to the level of 65 Euro to 62-s in the 1 st quarter of 2010 and fell to 69 euros - in the 4 th quarter of 2010.
Gross Margin of Mobile phones and services decreased to 29.1% from 32.4% last year and 29,2% - in the last quarter.
Operating margin (non-IAS), Mobile phones and services fell to 9.8% from 12.1% in the 1 st quarter 2010 (compared to the previous quarter to 11.3%).
The net amount is not IFRS NAVTEQ sales totaled 232 million euros, up 23% over the same period last year, as compared with the previous quarter - fell by 25%. (20% growth and 26% drop in monetary units)
Net sales unit Nokia Siemens Networks were EUR 3.2 billion, or 17% higher compared to the same period last year and 20% lower compared with the previous quarter (15% growth and 21% drop in monetary units).
Operating margin (non-IAS) Nokia Siemens Networks has fallen to 0,1% from 0,6% in the first quarter of 2010 and 3,7% - in the fourth quarter.
Cash flows from current operations amounted to 173 million euros, while cash generated from operating activities amounted to 182 million euros.
Total cash and other liquid assets at the end of the first quarter of 2011 amounted to 11.1 billion euros (net assets of 6.4 billion euros).
