[99 Seconds News] A helping hand to recover from flood damage

It is the first time in Korea that the monsoon season has continued for 50 consecutive days. Heavy rains across the country continue to cause damage. That’s why Samsung offers a helping hand to the flood victims.

On August 11th and 12th, Samsung medical volunteer group visited Chungbuk and Chungnam. The victims were treated for injuries and flood-caused epidemics. In addition, since the beginning of the heavy rains, Samsung Electronics Service has been carrying out flood recovery services such as cleaning of flooded home appliances and free inspections around affected areas such as Busan, Ulsan, and Daejeon.

On August 7th, Samsung donated 3 billion won to the Korean Red Cross for restoration of the damage, and so far, we has delivered over 3,700 emergency kits. In addition, the company provides support for flood recovery from a mobile laundry vehicle to a food truck.
