The first in the region EMEA wireless network MOTOMESH Duo
The company Motorola announced that its regional partner, the company Magic Telekom, together with the European distributor AIR building in the town of Varazdin (Croatia) municipal wireless broadband network designed for members of city services, business organizations, residents and visitors.
The project, launched in May this year - the first implementation of the network Motorola MOTOMESH Duo in the region EMEA. Dvuhdiapazonnaya honeycomb wireless network will provide easy access to applications throughout the city and significantly reduce the cost of the Inter-infrastructure.
The result should be an effective, reliable and flexible network that meets all the requirements of the popular tourist city in regard to safety, urban and public access. In addition to providing the public a high-speed Internet access, the network also offers organizations such innovative services such as IP-telephony (VoIP), video surveillance and services based on location (access to services and information to mobile devices).
Currently installed 45 modules, which cover an area of about one square kilometer. There are in pilot mode several applications, including applications remotely monitor traffic, street lighting and parking by using video technology. Based on the projected demand for broadband access
