Huawei named Wireless Broadband Network Vendor of the Year and NGN Infrastructure Vendor of the Year
Huawei was named Wireless Broadband Network Vendor of the Year and NGN Infrastructure Vendor of the Year in the Telecom Asia Readers' Choice Awards in Hong Kong on 8 December 2008.
Telecom Asia' s editorial team said Huawei won both awards because of its leadership in technology innovation and its contribution to the industry.
"The volume and quality of the nominations as well as the response from readers has been fantastic," Mr. Joseph Waring, Group Editor of Telecom Asia said. "The voting was extremely close in a number of categories, and there were a couple of surprise winners that weren' t ranked high during the nomination phase, but were very popular among readers."
