Rising HTC Diamond-series and G1 handset shipments push HTC revenues to record high in November
High Tech Computer (HTC) saw its revenues hit a record high of NT$17.76 billion (US$528.57 million) in November, up 10.8% sequentially and also up 22.1% on year, according to the company.
Robust sales of the company's HTC Diamond-series smartphones as well as Android-based G1 handsets helped push up revenues in November.
Having recorded revenues of NT$16.04 billion in October and NT$17.76 billion in November, HTC only needs to sustain revenues at 14.2 billion in December to achieve its target revenues of NT$48 billion for the fourth quarter.
When asked if the company plans to revise upward its target revenues for the fourth quarter, HTC said the target will remain unchanged.
For the first 11 months of 2008, revenues totaled NT$138.98 billion, up 29.6% from a year earlier.
