Taiwan market: Chunghwa Telecom 2008 revenues meet target
Chuunghwa Telecom (CHT) has reported self-estimated revenues of NT$15.87 billion (US$477.69 million) for December 2008, with revenues of NT$186.78 billion for 2008 slightly rising by 0.24% from 2007 and exceeding the 2008 target by 0.96%.
CHT had about 1.07 million FTTx (fiber to the home/building) subscribers and 520,000 8Mbps ADSL subscribers at the end of December 2008, the company indicated.
Taiwan Mobile (TWM) and Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET), the other two of the top three-operators of mobile communication services in Taiwan, have also released their self-estimated financial figures for December 2008.
