Nokia appoints retail head for Greater China and South Korea
Nokia has initiated a reshuffle of its top executives in the Asia Pacific region, promoting Tsung-kai Cheng, currently general manager of Nokia Taiwan, to head Nokia's newly created retail units in the Greater China area and South Korea, Nokia Taiwan has announced.
The retail units in the individual markets have been set up following a shake-up of Nokia's corporate structure by combining its GTM (Go-To-Market) unit and marketing and sales unit into a single marketing and sales department, Cheng indicated.
Cheng will assume his post staring March 1, and he will report directly to Colin Giles, Nokia global senior vice president and Deng Yuanjun, Nokia global vice president. In addition, Cheng will continue to serve as general manager of Nokia Taiwan until Nokia announces a new appointment to the post.
