AT&T U-verse TV Honored with Telly and EMPixx Awards
AT&T* today announced that AT&T U-verseSM TV has been awarded a 2009 Silver Telly Award in the in-store award category for its sales reel. The Telly Awards recognize creative excellence in video commercials and productions, and the Silver Telly statuette is the Telly Award's highest honor.
The AT&T U-verse sales reel, created in conjunction with AT&T by Digital Kitchen, takes U-verse TV customers to an "AT&T U-verse city" inside the U-verse receiver where customers can learn about U-verse TV features and applications capable of significantly transforming their entertainment experience and lifestyles. The reel is currently on display in retail stores around the country and online at http://uconnect.att.com.
The AT&T U-verse BUZZ channel was also awarded a Bronze Telly Award for the direct marketing award category. The award-winning show, which aired throughout June 2008, featured an exclusive tour of Nickelodeon Studios in Hollywood.
The AT&T U-verse BUZZ channel, developed and produced in conjunction with AT&T by Digital Kitchen, features an on-air host who travels around the country, giving viewers an inside look at some of today's most exciting shows and events. The BUZZ Channel was also honored with a Gold EMPixx Award for its February 2009 episode that traveled to the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
