Green Action: Mio to Hold First Online Exhibition and Debut Its New 3.5G GPS Phone

While people are counting down to the start of CeBIT 2009, Mio, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of Portable Navigation Devices (PND), will take advantage of an online virtual exhibition to be the first to introduce its innovative “Mio Spirit” navigation platform. The online exhibition will be held from 9A.M. Hannover local time (Germany, GMT +1 hours), March 2nd to 5P.M., March 20th, 2009, at www.mio.com/promo/virtual_roadshow/

The online “Mio Virtual Roadshow” will demonstrate Mio’s breakthrough navigation software “Mio Spirit”, which will be implemented throughout 2009’s new products, and also unveil its first 3.5G GPS Phone. Launched earlier in CES 2009, th “Mio Spirit” features an intuitive user interface with less clicks between functions to make PNDs easier and more interesting to use. The exhibition extends the brand’s concept of “explore more” with the addition of Mio Spirit, showing Mio’s dedication to expanding users’ experience beyond traditional A-to-B navigation.

Samuel Wang, President of Mio Technology Corp. said: “Leading companies in the industry have already hosted online exhibitions to target a wider audience, and it also saves costs, traveling time and a lot of resources. Riding this wave, Mio would like to take the opportunity to approach global media and customers without boundaries and time limitations. I think it’s the best response to the Green Wave of the time.”

The virtual exhibition will present everything you need to know about Mio’s latest development just as in a real exhibition. Visitors will be able to view the product hardware and the functions through photos, videos and extensive introductions. Justine Liu, Global Marcom Director of Mio Technology, will host an online briefing to share an observation of market trends and Mio’s future plans at 9A.M. Hannover local time (Germany, GMT +1 hours), March 5th at www.mio.com/promo/virtual_roadshow/
