Nokia will start to do netbuki
In the context of a global economic crisis, analysts expect a significant reduction in supply in almost all areas of IT-sector. Pleasant exception is the market for ultra-low-cost notebooks, which are easy hands were called Intel netbukov. That is why an increasing number of companies intend to enter this promising market. Thus, the Taiwanese site Digitimes, citing its own sources reported that the largest manufacturer of mobile phones is about to enter the market netbukov.
Rumors that Nokia is going to do netbuki, went long ago, but the first official confirmation of the words have become the company CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo (Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo) in a recent interview with the Finnish channel YLE. Head of Nokia announced that the company is actively considering the possibility of release on the market.
Among potential partners are named company Compal Electronics and Foxconn Electronics, which is likely, and may engage in direct production of devices. Interestingly, netbuki will have to use ARM-processors rather than the traditional x86-architecture, and to work under OS Symbian.
