Sprint "Now Hiring" at Rio Rancho, New Mexico Contact Center
Jobs Are Part of the Company's Commitment to Further Improve the Customer Experience
RIO RANCHO, N.M.--Mar. 3, 2009-- Despite the tough economic conditions that face U.S. workers, Sprint (NYSE:S) today announced that it is looking for a few good men and women on an ongoing basis to fulfill customer service positions at its Rio Rancho contact center this year.
The new positions will be added to the 800 employees working at the contact center today. The new hires will be offered competitive salaries and benefits, including medical, dental, 401K, performance bonuses, free use of the onsite fitness center and participation in the employee wireless phone program.
“We’re looking for individuals with passion, confidence and the commitment to join our team of long-time employees in completing one goal – improving the customer experience,” said Craig Jantzi, director of the Sprint Rio Rancho Contact Center. “There is such a vast pool of talented and qualified working professionals here in the Albuquerque area. We believe they will be challenged by the rewarding positions at our call center as they provide an opportunity in which they can put to use their communication, technical and multi-tasking skills.”

The center, one of the routinely highest performing contact centers in the company, was named one of the Best Places to Work in New Mexico in 2007 by the New Mexico Business Weekly. It has also been recognized for various community service activities including Dog Day Adoption, the Top 25 supporters in Central New Mexico of the United Way and the volunteer work its center employees do to support a local public preschool. In addition, last year the company invested more than $8 million in the state to enhance networks for area customers.
