"Intellect Telecom and Nokia Siemens Networks have agreed to establish a joint Research and Development Center

In the framework of the XIV International scientific-industrial forum "United Russia", taking place in Nizhny Novgorod, JSC "Intellect Telecom, Research and Innovation Center Sistema in high technology and industry, and Nokia Siemens Networks have signed an agreement of intent to create Joint Research and Development Center based industrial park "Sistema-Sarov".

Under the agreement, JSC "Intellect Telecom will hold 51% stake, and Nokia Siemens Networks - 49% of the joint venture. Research and Development Center plans to implement activities in the field of advanced technologies that are key to the telecommunications market in Russia, such as cellular communications, satellite navigation, telematics, test and support system solutions. It is planned that the Center will employ around 100 staff.
