FAS terminated its antitrust case against the manufacturers of notebooks

Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) terminated its antitrust case against the Aser, ASUSTeK Computer, Toshiba Corporation, Hewlett-Packard, Samsung Electronics, Dell, which was brought on grounds of consistency in the actions of companies (paragraph 5 of Part 1 of Article 11 of the Law on Protection of Competition ).

Signs of violations of the antimonopoly legislation, in particular, that notebook manufacturers preinstalled operating system of the same products for notebooks, which customers are consumers who can not, in most cases to choose and buy laptop model without pre-installed operating system, or to refuse the use of imposed together with the purchase of products (operating system corporation Microsoft).
