FourthWall Media Products See Broad Application at CableLabs(R) Advanced Advertising Interop
PLANO, Texas -- FourthWall Media(TM) (formerly BIAP), the media company driving a creative revolution in interactive TV, today announced its successful participation in the CableLabs® Advanced Advertising Interop event held last week in Louisville, Colo. The company's products and technology were elements of three use cases, which demonstrated the industry's progress in breaking through traditional barriers between advertisers and consumers.
FourthWall Media and Concurrent, a worldwide leader in video, media data, and advertising solutions jointly demonstrated a use case which consisted of a voting & polling application on VOD with addressable parameters. The demonstration included interactive voting & polling utilizing the EBIF specification; interactive campaign management utilizing SCTE 130 specifications; and data collection and distribution utilizing the CableLabs SaFI specification.
In a second use case, FourthWall joined a number of companies who created a comprehensive demonstration of dynamic ad insertion into linear programming to deliver more compelling and profitable. FourthWall's EBIF Authoring and Asset Management, EBIF User Agent, and ETV Platform Server were utilized.
Finally, in a third use case, FourthWall Media's Ad Widgets® System, EBIF User Agent, ETV Platform, and VODMax widget provided support for the BlackArrow(TM) Advanced Advertising System in demonstrating Interactive Telescoping ad capabilities utilizing the full suite of ETV, SCTE 130 and SaFI interfaces.
"The use cases that FourthWall Media participated in at CableLabs Advanced Advertising Interop were clear proof that the promise of interactive television is about to be realized for consumers and advertisers," said Tim Peters, CEO of FourthWall Media. "We are very excited to be an integral part of several different Advanced Advertising approaches that are enabling a significant leap forward in how the medium is used and experienced."
