Guests and Staff at Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa in Las Vegas Stay Connected on the Now Network

Comprehensive In-Building Wireless Solution from Sprint and MobileAccess Delivers Reliable Voice and Data Communications Coverage.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.-- Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa, located off the Las Vegas Strip, has teamed up with Sprint (NYSE:S) and MobileAccess to provide wireless indoor coverage for its guests and staff.

The new network delivers enhanced wireless coverage in casinos, convention and meeting areas, back-of-house areas and corporate headquarters and ensures reliable coverage for a variety of wireless communication applications throughout Red Rock’s facility, which includes 94,000 square feet of meeting space, nine restaurants and multiple entertainment venues.

Station Casinos Inc., which owns Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa, selected the Sprint Custom Network Solutions (CNS) and MobileAccess solution as their property standard for in-building wireless because of the best-in-class, multiservice Distributed Antenna System (DAS), competitive pricing, broad service and device portfolio. Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa is Station Casinos’ second property to deploy the multiservice DAS. In May, the company announced a similar deployment at the Aliante Station Casino + Hotel in North Las Vegas.

“Extending the Sprint and MobileAccess solution into Red Rock Casino helps us provide a superior customer experience to guests and deliver a competitive advantage in the crowded Nevada hospitality market during these challenging economic times,” said Bryan Miles, director of networking and telecommunications at Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa. “The reliable and scalable multiple service infrastructure eliminates poor cellular reception and dead spot issues, guaranteeing consistent wireless communications in nearly every corner of the property – from the casino floor to the convention and meeting spaces to back-of-house areas – and ensures that we can easily add new technologies down the road without disrupting our guests.”

This solution provides guests and employees at Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa virtually uninterrupted, seamless connectivity for all cellular devices. In addition, it provides:

Support for major cellular carriers, including Sprint, and radio coverage all over a single, highly flexible wireless architecture.
Single DAS system managed and maintained by MobileAccess, as well as the Sprint radio frequency source maintained 24x7 by Sprint CNS Care.
Scalability to enable future mobilization of business applications and support new mobility solutions without the need for additional infrastructure.
Additional cost savings by eliminating the need for employees to carry multiple wireless devices.
“Business and leisure guests alike have come to expect and depend on reliable wireless coverage to meet their communication and mobility needs when traveling,” said Tim Donahue, vice president, industry solutions for Sprint. “By providing a comprehensive system that ensures virtually uninterrupted coverage indoors for Red Rock’s operators and guests, we not only support our hospitality partner’s mobility needs, but also provide a complete solution powered by our dependable Now Network for next-generation applications.”

“MobileAccess continues to lead the way in delivering multiservice, in-building wireless innovations to the hospitality industry,” said Ron Wells, vice president of corporate development, MobileAccess. “Station Casinos’ latest deployment is a great example of the elegant and reliable communications platforms we deliver, which are setting the bar for indoor peak performance. As the hospitality industry remains focused on customer amenities, MobileAccess will continue to help our customers meet their goals with wireless solutions that simplify resort operations and easily adapt to the next generation of applications, helping to increase guest loyalty and improve efficiencies.”
