Nokia 7230 slides into view

GLOBAL – The Nokia 7230 is a compact slider with stunning looks. Rounded edges and a sleek finish make this Series 40 device easy on they eye at a price that’s even easier on the pocket. It doesn’t do badly on the feature front either whilst the 2.4-inch screen makes the most of the available space.

The Nokia 7230 is a connected little critter with Nokia Messaging on board, easy access to sharing snaps to Ovi, Flickr and Facebook and 3G for fast data transfer. Photos come courtesy of a 3.2-megapixel camera with dedicated camera button whilst a light alert will let you know when you get a new message or call.

The 7230 will keep going on standby for over 14 days and offers four hours talktime. MP3 and AAC ringtones are supported and the FM radio will keep the tunes rolling.

Memory is of the micro SD variety – the device comes with a 2GB card – and the phonebook is good for a little-miss-popular 2,000 entries.

The Nokia 7230 is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2010 for an anticipated retail price of €100 before taxes or subsidies.
