PhotoFast SSD-drives in the 1.8-inch format with interface IDE
PhotoFast company introduced a series of three solid state drives with capacities from 32 to 256 GB, which are made in the form factor 1.8-inch. The main advantage of the new series compared with earlier models was the increased speed of reading and writing, which amounted to 128 MB / s and 90 MB / s, respectively. Also, this model line, called the G-Monster V4, have different types of interfaces: 40-pin ZIF, 44-pin IDE and 50-pin IDE.
All drives PhotoFast G-Monster V4 uses NAND flash memory on multilevel cell (MLC) and 64 MB of dynamic memory for the cache. The functions of the controller includes the possibility of complete purification of remote data and the reallocation of existing files, which reduces the fragmentation. Power consumption stated at 200-450 mA in operating mode and 3.5 mA in standby standby. Drive supports operating systems Linux, Windows CE, Vista, XP, and Windows 7.
Cost and terms of early delivery models are not reported.
