Taiwan's April export order value down on month
Taiwan received export orders worth US$33.960 billion in April 2010, dropping 1.24% on month but rising 35.15% on year, according to statistics released by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) on May 20.
Electronic and IT/communication products were the top two categories, the former generating US$8.125 billion and the latter US$8.080 billion.
The January-April cumulative value stood at US$126.126 billion, rising 45.21% on year.
