AT&T Hosts Scavenger Hunt for Iowa Residents

I am personally an hour and a half away from the nearest spot where a Droid X was given away. And, since I didn’t know when the coordinates would be announced for the Oklahoma City location (the one nearest me), I couldn’t really even plan for the event. I saw the tweet go up within about ten minutes, but there’s no way I could have ever hoped to get there before someone else. Plus, I’m still tied into my contract with Sprint, so I don’t know what I would’ve done with a Droid X anyway, but that’s not exactly the point.

Well if you’re like me, and if you live in Iowa, you might be interested in attending this scavenger hunt that AT&T is hosting at the Jordan Creek Mall in Des Moines at 1:30pm tomorrow (as in, Saturday the 17th). They’re calling it the Passport for Prizes contest, and prizes include LCD TVs, gift certificates, and a few HTC Aria phones. So, if you’re looking to snag one of those on the cheap (or in this case, free), head over to the mall tomorrow and see if you can get your hands on one.
