Lenovo ceases the development of the laptop computers Of thinkPad of a series Of [kh]300

On the preliminary information the company Of lenovo made the decision to forego further development of a series of ultra-PortaIV [leptopov] Of thinkPad X300/X301. Instead of them will be developed the rule Of t400s/T410s, which is based to the same technical solutions, which are used in the laptop computers Of [kh]300. This step is not completely unexpected, since the need for the renovation of a series is connected also with the certification of new equipment, which placed under a question the economic expediency of the production of the very similar laptop computers of a series [KH]300/[KH]301 and T400s/T410s.

At the present moment these two mentioned types of laptop computers have insignificant differences. A main difference, in the opinion in the representatives Of lenovo, was the difference in the dimensions of screen 13,3 and 14 inches, which drew a total increase in the dimensions of [leptopa]. The limited market for ULV- models company plans to saturate by the more standard solutions, than the laptop computers of [premium] of class it is exclusive with the SSD- accumulators and the 13,3- one inch screens. Also it communicates, that by the estimations Of lenovo Of thinkPad Of t400s/T410s much the more productive solutions and precisely their development is most justified economically.
