Panasonic begins sales of 3-layer rewritable Blu-ray disc of 100 GB
Japanese company Panasonic has announced the commencement of sales from April 15, 3-layer one-sided rewritable Blu-ray Disc standard BDXL, which can record information of up to 100 GB.
The new drive can record two times more information than the existing ones currently on the market dual-layer Blu-ray discs, which can accommodate up to 50 GB of information. This allows you to record HD video content on the new disc format BS digital (HD 24Mbps) up to 8 hours and 40 minutes.
