Number of mobile internet users in the network MTS Ukraine has grown to 5 million

The mobile operator MTS Ukraine has announced a significant increase in the number of users of mobile Internet access among its customers - at the end of 1 quarter of 2011 the number of users of wireless Internet access from MTS Ukraine has exceeded 4.9 million subscribers, with an increase of third (32%) compared with the first quarter of 2010.

As reported by the operator, the amount of downloaded and transferred to the traffic on its network for the first quarter of 2011 more than doubled (136%) exceeded the same period last year and reached in 1730 of TB. For the entire 2010 MTS subscriber traffic amounted to about 5 thousand TB, doubling the figure in 2009 (more than 2 thousand TB).
