Samsung introduced the world's first 64-bit MLC NAND-flash memory module interface using DDR 2.0

The South Korean company Samsung Electronics has announced that the world first began producing 64-bit mnogoyacheistyh NAND memory chips using high-performance DDR 2.0 interface and built on a 20-nm process technology.

This new model is designed for use in high-performance mobile devices such as smartphones, Tablet PC, and solid state drives (SSD drives). It delivers transfer speeds up to 400 Mbps, which is 10 times higher than the 40-bit SDR NAND memory, widely used at present, as well as three times the speed 32-bit DDR NAND flash memory modules that use the interface DDR 1.0 .
