Nokia X7 available to pre-order, shipping at the “end of June”
Nokia has opened up its pre-orders for the Nokia X7, ahead of its release at the end of the month.
Three UK may be pushing back its release of the smartphone, but Nokia has confirmed that the X7 will be landing in Blighty at “the end of June 2011″. Eager punters can now pre-order the handset, which is available for free from £25.00 per month on subsidized tariffs with T-Mobile and Vodafone. As well as bagging yourself a free X7 handset, you’ll get 600 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB of data for surfing the web.
It’s also available on pay as you go for £359.99, and SIM free for £399.99.
Launched in April, the X7 – along with the Nokia E6 – is the first of Nokia’s handsets to arrive touting Symbian Anna OS. With the Finns’ updated platform onboard it’ll boast a redesgined UI, a portrait onscreen QWERTY, a revamped web browser and a number of performance boosts.
Beside’s its re-jigged OS, the Nokia X7-00 rocks 4-inch AMOLED display, a set of external speakers, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with HD video, a front-facing videocall cam, pre-loaded games, Bluetooth, HSDPA and WiFi, and up to 32GB of expandable memory.
