A6 chips for Apple TSMC will produce?
Source Reuters news agency reported that at least a test batch of chips Apple A6 manufactured in factories Taiwanese TSMC. This can be done to determine the fundamental possibility of production of these chips in sufficient quantities for Apple, and with the necessary quality to later make a contract manufacturer. TSMC company officials did not deny either, nor confirm that information. Details about what constitutes a processor and A6 are available. According to rumors Apple plans to transition to quad-core processors, such as demonstrated by Nvidia Kal-El, but by 2012 it is unlikely that you will be presented to the public. Also, despite repeated reports that the production of chips A5 will soon be phased out or transferred to other Plants, Apple continues to work with Samsung, the factories which these chips and printed. TSMC is considered one of the largest independent processors and is often seen as an alternative option besides Samsung, which in recent years became the largest producer of semiconductor equipment. Currently, the network rumors about the possible failure of the Apple service the South Korean company that is based on a number of litigation between Apple and Samsung. However, termination of contracts is unlikely, as the U.S. firm will be hard to find a manufacturer who can produce the necessary components in sufficient quantities and at high speed, and it is likely that the contracts provide for financial sanctions against a party refusing to implement agreements.
