Gingerbread update 2.3.3 is available for Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

Said than done. Here is the update to 2.3.3 for Sony Ericsson Xperia Gingerbread X10 available for download and installation.

Here are recent additions to the update:

Ability to use your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspots
Music player with equalizer
USB Sharing: Share your 3G data connection via the USB connector
Photo Widgets: one click to access the application with photo galleries
Sorting tray: you can have applications in the order you prefer
Sony Ericsson says, however, that some things will change in the phone. We see them:
The user data stored in the phone such as contacts and messages will be overwritten. The user data stored in the memory card the phone will not be affected.
The DRM content will be overwritten.
The application backup and recovery will be overwritten and can not be used to restore the data. Check if other applications Android Market are available for backing up and restoring data, such as MyBackup.
