Opera Software partners with UTV Indiagames

Opera Software announced its association with UTV Indiagames, an integrated game developer-publisher across mobile, online and the Interactive Television, to offer gaming content on Opera Mini Speed Dial. Opera Mini users in India can enjoy the most sought-after games as well as other products from the gaming company, on the go.

With this one-click access, Opera users will get full access to an exciting collection of premium quality games, from puzzles to action and strategy, developed by UTV Indiagames, anytime anywhere. To add on, there’s a special treat for all the movie buffs: your favorite movie star avatar will appear in various movie-based mobile games that are offered by the company. And not restricting the package to games alone, there will be a range of attractive wallpapers, exciting music and videos, all lined up for users to explore.

Starting this month, a UTV Indiagames shortcut will be available from the Speed Dial for those who download the Opera Mini browser. Existing users who want to join in on the fun can just upgrade Opera Mini and the shortcut will be added to their Speed Dial.

“Opera users can now access a world class portfolio of high-definition games on their mobile devices including DLF IPL Cricket, Pirates of the Caribbean and Cars 2,” said Samir Bangara, COO, UTV Indiagames. “The Speed Dial shortcut solves the ‘discovery’ problem and gives users immediate and convenient access to thousands of exciting games and other entertainment products tailored for their mobile phones.”

“Variety is the spice of life. We are committed to providing all our users with the best, comprehensive browsing experience,” said Sunil Kamath, Sales Director for India & SAARC, Opera Software. “By bringing quality content to Opera Mini users in India, we are able to give them quick access to an interesting mix of their selected sites. UTV Indiagames captures all the thrills and excitement from its games, right here and right now in the Opera Mini Speed Dial.”
