Huawei and Renesas Mobile set a new record standard HSUPA

The Japanese company Renesas Mobile Corporation and the Chinese company Huawei reported the successful implementation of the world's first call to the HSPA + standard, with up to 10.4 Mbit / s in uplink (from subscriber to base station of cellular communication). To achieve this result as a reverse channel has been configured with support for HSUPA radio speed 11 Mbit / s channel from a subscriber to the base station in accordance with the 3GPP release 7. This new stage of evolution of the functional HSPA + provides operators with an opportunity to significantly improve the return channel. It combines the 16QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation - a 16-ary quadrature modulation, which provides greater spectral efficiency) and the technology of E-DPCCH Huawei (Enhanced Dedicated Physical Control Channel - enhanced dedicated physical control channel) with an advanced platform for mobile Renesas Mobile. As stated in the companies , the rapid development of devices and mobile applications, has a double pressure on operators and suppliers on the one hand, the increase of data traffic transmitted over the reverse channel, and with another - the increasing demand of subscribers for bandwidth for data transmission, including in social networks . So now the operators and providers should pay more attention to methods for effectively increasing the data rate on the reverse channel.
