Ukraine has launched a new competition for Samsung mobile application developers
Company «Samsung Electronics Ukraine" announced the start of the contest for developers of mobile software Samsung bada Developers Challenge Ukraine, which will be held in Ukraine for the second consecutive year. By organizing the competition, Samsung expects to attract a large number of developers to create programs for the platform bada. This will further expand the range of online store Samsung Apps (www.samsungapps.com) applications created in Ukraine to the local context.
To participate in the competition are accepted applications for the platform bada in Ukrainian and Russian languages, suitable for one of six categories: "Health / Lifestyle", "Games", "music / video ',' Productivity," "Social Networking" and "Navigation ". To win, the program should be interesting for users, open up new possibilities of mobile phone and have high quality workmanship. The main criteria for evaluation of competitive applications are five: the uniqueness of the commercial potential, functionality, usability and design.
As a result, programmers competition will receive a total of $ 10 thousand prize for building applications. Of these, $ 3 thousand will go to the author of the application, took first place, $ 2 thousand - the second and third prize winners, and another $ 1 thousand - application developers, who took the 4th, 5th and 6th place.

From July 28 to October 17, participants will need to register at the contest and upload their application to the store Samsung Apps. Then the jury will consider the competitive application and 15 November to announce the winners.
