"Beeline" expands the coverage of Republic of Bashkortostan
The mobile operator «Beeline» announced a major expansion of coverage for 2G and 3G in the republic of Bashkortostan. In the third quarter of 2011, implemented a number of measures aimed at improving the quality of communication in the region.
Thus, during the period of 3G capabilities "Beeline" became available to residents of another 67 settlements of the republic of Bashkortostan. Expanded coverage area connection "Beeline" based on 3G technology in 15 cities in the republic of Bashkortostan. The network is now the third generation of the "Beeline" fully covered almost all large and medium-sized towns of the republic of Bashkortostan, as well as the suburbs.
Work to improve the coverage of 2G and 3G touched 90% of its territory. In anticipation of the winter season, completed the work on the mobile phone network "Beeline" in the territory of the region's largest ski resorts and slopes ("Abzakovo" recreation "Shikhany" Lake Bath, resorts, city Mezhgorye).
As stated by the operator during the construction of 2G and 3G network in the Republic of Bashkortostan "Beeline" encompasses not only the regional centers, and remote villages, where the wireless access - one of the few options to go to the World Wide Web. Therefore, in this phase of upgrading the network focused on remote areas of the republic, where the relationship was completely absent.
In the republic of Bashkortostan's 3G network equipment deployed in Ericsson and works in the standard UMTS.
