HTC - the largest seller of smartphones in the U.S.

According to the analytical agency Canalys in the third quarter of 2011, the HTC managed to achieve considerable success in the smartphone market in the U.S.. Moreover, this producer was the number one supplier of smartphones in the country. For the third quarter in the U.S. under the brand HTC has sold nearly 5.7 million units and approximately 70,000 branded T-Mobile. Such a set of phones make it easy to bypass the Samsung and Apple. These companies in turn sold 4.9 million and 4.6 million units respectively. Neither RIM smartphones with BlackBerry, or Motorola devices with a relatively popular series Droid could not get the three largest suppliers of smartphones in the U.S.. Despite the achievements of signedness of HTC at the world's largest smartphone market, its global delivery is not as great as at other companies. And on the world market, it does not claim for the third quarter of this year in getting into the top 3 manufacturers. Place as the world market according to Canalys as follows: Samsung with 27.3 million smart phones (23% market share), Nokia, Apple, Research in Motion and then HTC. Most likely the situation will change in the U.S. market in the fourth quarter, when the more important will be selling iPhone 4S and "budget" version of the iPhone 4. In any case, selling 4 million units for one weekend shows that Apple has the potential to circumvent and Samsung and HTC, which plans for the 4th quarter only to sell 12-13 million smartphones around the world.
