Motorola introduced two new Tablet PC for Android: Motorola XOOM 2 and Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition
Today Motorola introduced for the European market its two new models of Tablet PCs running the operating system, Android 3.2 Honeycomb and dual-core 1.2 GHz processor - Motorola XOOM 2 and Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition, which should be on sale in the middle of this month in the UK and Ireland.
Both new hardware are identical and differ in size, weight and use a diagonal screen, which is covered with protective glass Corning Gorilla Glass. In addition, they come with a preinstalled proprietary software MotoCast, ensures the exchange of multimedia content and documents between the tablet PC or Mac, without wires or additional software.
Motorola XOOM 2 :
Motorola XOOM 2 is equipped with 10.1-inch widescreen HD display - brighter than the original XOOM, and compatible with an optional stylus Motorola Stylus, allowing to take handwritten notes. In addition, the new tablet is 100 grams lighter first XOOM, and a protective shell allows the execution is not worried about the new owner accidentally spilled on him a glass of water or a sudden it started to rain.
Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition :
Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition has a more compact size, equipped with a 8.2-inch display with 178-degree viewing angle, and the new graphics engine is 20% more productive compared to the first XOOM.
