Nokia will focus on simple smartphones
The representative of Nokia's Chris Weber (Chris Weber) in an interview with Wall Street Journal reported on the company's strategy in the U.S. market. At the moment, the Finnish manufacturer does not take any significant share in the U.S., but intends to change this situation. This should help him not only co-operation with Microsoft, but himself coming "from scratch". To create a mass of loyal users of their own will focus on the spread of ordinary smartphones budget level, which are usually bought by people as the first "smart" phone. This does not plan to use a strategy that would leave behind such as Android OS and iOS. Nis will be filled due to the fact that the devices from Nokia will be easier than Android-smartphone, the complexity of which for many is a negative factor, since technically difficult solutions to many users do not have any value. An important factor will be marked by Chris Weber, the need for downloading six applications from the Android Market to get the basic functionality of Windows Phone. Leaving such a claim on the conscience of the representative of Nokia, it should be noted that there is a significant amount of budget smartphone platform Android, which has already successfully sold, and the fact that many manufacturers extend the functionality of the basic Android OS by installing various add-ins. In addition, Nokia's still no exact plans for the development of its U.S. unit and cost smart phones, which are said Chris Weber will appear on the market only in 2012, though dates have yet to be determined.
