Micron introduced a SSD drive in the form factor mSATA
Company Micron introduced a new model of solid state (SSD) drive C400, executed in the form factor micro-SATA (mSATA) and intended primarily for ultrathin notebooks (ultrabuki).
A distinctive feature of this disk in a format mSATA is small (3x5 cm), which is about one-third of a standard business card. In addition, RealSSD C400 mSATA SSD will come with internal memory of 32 GB to 256 GB, SATA interface and equipped with a 6 Gb / sec.
As the memory chips used MLC NAND Flash Modules, manufactured VET 25-nm process technology, providing ultra-low power consumption. The disc has now been produced and is available for purchase in the distribution network Micron.
