Apple officially unveiled the iPad Mini

Apple has today officially unveiled its new tablet - iPad mini, which, unlike its predecessors, is equipped with a 7.9-inch display and is 23 percent thinner and 53 percent lighter compared to the third-generation iPad.

In addition, Apple introduced an updated version of the older model, where it is equipped with a new processor - Apple A6H.

In technical terms, except for display size, submitted to the novelty is at an intermediate level between the iPad2, from which "got" the display resolution and processor, and between the latest version of iPad with Retina Display with the same communications capabilities, including interface connector Lightning. In addition, the version of iPad mini module is equipped with 3G/LTE connector for a nano-SIM card.
