Sony Xperia smartphones will update to Android Jelly Bean in 2013, but not all


Sony has revealed plans to upgrade its Xperia series smartphones to OS Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. However, no cause for delight of fans of the brand, this information does not carry. In 2012, not a single smartphone updated to this version will not be. The very first will be the Xperia T and TX, to be followed by Xperia V. These devices will start to receive updates from the middle of the first quarter of 2013, depending on the country and operator. After this version of Android 4.1 will be available for models Xperia S, Xperia acro S, Xperia ion, Xperia P, Xperia go and Xperia J. Update officially confirmed, but the exact dates are not fixed, but it is clear that it will not be earlier than the end of the first quarter of 2013. Holders smartphone lineup in 2011 to upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is not available. Sony has said that those vehicles that have already been upgraded to Android 4.0.4 continue to receive updates to the operating system will not, regardless of their ability to work with Android 4.1 OS, however Sony has promised to continue to support these devices, referring to that higher version Ice Cream Sandwich just provide better user experience.
