Tele2 launched a mobile network in Kamchatka six months ahead of schedule
The mobile operator Tele2 has announced plans to launch a mobile network in commercial operation in the Kamchatka region for half a year before the period specified in the license agreement.
Mobile networks in standard GSM1800 in the Kamchatka region will be launched on October 26 of this year, while the license conditions require network launch no later than 6 May 2013.
Recall that a license for the provision of communications services Tele2 was obtained as a result of a competition held by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Communications (Roskomnadzor) in April 2011. According to the results of other competitions are held at the same time, Tele2 acquired the right to build networks and provide mobile services in the Jewish Autonomous Region, Magadan, Sakhalin, and the Chukchi and Koryak Autonomous Okrug.
