• What are prepaid cards and how can I use them?

¹ Based on a call rate of 1.6p/min. (incl. VAT) and a connection fee per call. The actual number of minutes may vary depending on calling destination and number of calls made. Call rates subject to change – see skype.com for current call rates. Calls are charged in one minute increments and any partial minute over 5 seconds will be rounded up to the next full minute.

Prepaid card redemption information

-15% Luxembourg VAT will be deducted at time of redemption - no further UK VAT charges will be applied thereafter when using any Skype paid feature.

- Card must be redeemed within one year from purchase date. No cash redemption, except where required by law. Protect this card like cash. Issuer is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged cards. If your purchase exceeds the available balance on the card, you must pay for the excess amount at the time of purchase. 

No emergency calls with Skype

Skype is not a replacement for your telephone and can't be used for emergency calling.
