Yandeks.Navigator warn about cameras on the roads

Company Yandex announced the release of a new version of the Navigator, which is now able to prevent the cameras that record traffic violations. If the car approaches a camera with excessive speed, Navigator beeps. This, according to the developers, helping the driver to comply with speed limits and makes a move on the road safer.

Navigator is now known for more than 3000 video recording fixed cameras installed in the cities of Russia and Ukraine. This list will be gradually expanded. Furthermore, users can themselves point the camera directly on the map, including mobile units of speed. Yandex will warn drivers about them too. Besides the camera, the card can also specify repairs, accidents and other events on the road.

Navigator from Yandex available for devices on iOS  and Android . The first version of the app released this spring. Now its monthly audience of 1.7 million users. Navigator is loaded each month about 300 thousand times.
